SP Twist combines the soft-touch, matte feel of paper with the functional performance of a flexible candy packaging film. Unlike conventional glossy wrappers, it creates a more refined tactile experience while providing the grease and moisture resistance required for premium confectionery packaging.
Which twist wrap and fold wrapping formats can be made with SP Twist?
SP Twist is developed for twist packaging and fold wrapping applications, including single twist, double twist and flag fold. Other wrapping formats can always be discussed with our technical team to evaluate whether the material can be adapted to your specific application and equipment.
Is SP Twist suitable as a caramel wrapper, toffee wrapper or hard candy wrapper?
Yes. Its grease-resistant, non-stick surface helps prevent sticky or fatty sweets from adhering to the candy wrapper — a common issue with conventional paper-based materials. The material is PFAS-free, so this performance is achieved without added PFAS coatings, helping deliver a cleaner and more premium unwrapping experience for the final customer.

SP Twist is developed for industrial candy wrapping machines and efficient processing on high-speed production lines. Final compatibility depends on the machine model, candy type, wrapping format and operating parameters, so we recommend validating the material through a production trial before commercial rollout.
